01/Timing

When to book

We recommend your session 2 to 4 weeks before your wedding. That leaves time to see your images and finish your album while you’re still in full bridal glow. Booking 2 to 3 months ahead secures your date.

02/Your wardrobe

What to wear

Plan 2 to 3 looks, soft to bold. You’re welcome to choose from our client wardrobe, or bring your own pieces.

  • Lingerie that feels bridal to you
  • A silk robe
  • Your partner’s shirt
  • Your wedding dress, for a few shots

03/Little details

Bridal details to bring

  • Your veil
  • Your wedding shoes
  • Jewelry and your perfume
  • “Bride” or “wifey” pieces
  • Your photo ID

Getting ready

  • Come with clean, moisturized skin. Soft skin photographs beautifully.
  • If you’ve added hair and makeup, arrive with a clean face and clean, dry hair. We handle the rest.
  • Wear something loose and soft on the way, so straps and waistbands don’t leave marks.
  • Eat beforehand and bring water. You’ll be moving more than you think.

05/Session day

On the day

Your session is in our private home studio in St. Albert. The exact address comes to you after booking, to protect everyone’s privacy. Feeling nervous is completely normal. That feeling lasts about 10 minutes, and by your second look you’ll forget we’re even there. You don’t need to know how to pose. We guide you through natural poses that bring out your softness and your strength.

06/Good to know

A few things before you come

  • Bring government-issued photo ID. Every boudoir client must be 18 or older.
  • You’re always in control. You can pause or stop at any time, and say no to any pose.
  • Please come sober, so you feel fully present and safe.
  • Guests, children and pets can’t join the session unless we’ve arranged it ahead of time.
  • Your photos stay private. Your agreement asks how you’d like them used, if at all, and we never share an image without your written permission.

The wedding morning

Many brides give their album to their partner on the morning of the wedding. Your Fine Art Album is made for exactly that.
